Night Care Assistant — Care Homes, Rugby & Coventry

We are recruiting waking-night care assistants for care homes across Rugby and Coventry. If you want more hours than nights alone give you, we can add daytime home-care visits around your shifts — so you can build the week that suits you.

Nights are a different job to days

A night shift is quieter, but it asks more of your judgement. You are one of a small team looking after the whole home while people sleep. The work is settling residents at the start of the shift, doing comfort and safety rounds through the night, repositioning people who need it to protect their skin, and being calm and reassuring for anyone who wakes confused or distressed. You will handle whatever the night brings, and you will often be the person who decides when to call for help. It suits people who are steady under pressure and happy working with a bit more independence.

Where you will work

Rugby is our home town — our office is on Central Park, so you always have a real person to reach, not just a voice on a phone. Coventry, a short drive away, is a city with more and larger homes and a steady demand for reliable night staff. The patch is compact, so travel to and from a shift is short.

You do not need care experience

We train people who are new to care — a full induction, the Care Certificate, and all the mandatory training the role needs. What matters most on nights is that you are calm, observant and dependable.
